Support for Everyday Health Concerns

Explore common concerns our physicians support and discover our approach.

Stress, Sleep & Fatigue

  • Sleep
  • Stress
  • Fatigue
  • Burnout

When your body and mind can't fully recover, everything else suffers — focus, mood, immunity, energy. TCM takes a whole-body view, looking at how your constitution, circulation, and internal balance may be contributing to poor sleep or persistent stress.

Your physician may recommend Acupuncture, Herbal Medication, or Electro-Lymphatic Therapy to support genuine, lasting restoration.

Digestion & Bloating

  • Bloating
  • Gut Health
  • Indigestion
  • Digestive Discomfort

Recurring digestive discomfort is rarely just about what you eat. In TCM, digestive health is connected to how your body processes food, manages internal balance, stress, and energy flow.

Our physicians assess your body constitution, habits, and symptoms before recommending personalised support through Acupuncture, Herbal Medication, or dietary guidance.

Skin & Inflammation

  • Eczema
  • Acne
  • Sensitive Skin
  • Recurring Flare-Ups

Persistent skin concerns often signal internal imbalances — whether that's excess Heat, Dampness, or underlying imbalances.

Our physicians look beyond what's visible on the skin to identify and address what may be triggering recurring flare-ups from within. Care may include Acupuncture, targeted Herbal Medication, and Electro-Lymphatic Therapy to support calmer, healthier skin over time.

Women's Wellness & Fertility

  • Menstrual Health
  • Fertility
  • Perimenopause
  • Menopause

Women's health concerns shift significantly across different life stages. Our physicians take time to understand your cycle, hormonal patterns, symptoms, and body constitution — building a care plan that meets you where you are today, not where you were five years ago.

Support may include Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Herbal Medication, and Electro-Lymphatic Therapy, tailored to your stage and needs.

Pain, Recovery & Mobility

  • Muscle Pain & Tension
  • Joint Stiffness
  • Inflammation
  • Sports Recovery

Recurring pain and stiffness are often the body's way of signalling poor circulation, inflammation, or unresolved tension. Rather than managing discomfort session by session, our physicians work to identify and address the underlying pattern.

Care may include Acupuncture, Cupping, Herbal Medication, or Electro-Lymphatic Therapy — designed to support recovery, restore mobility, and reduce recurring flare-ups.

Immunity & Respiratory Wellness

  • Frequent Colds
  • Sinus
  • Lingering Cough
  • Low Immunity

Recurring colds, a cough that lingers, or a body that takes longer to bounce back — these can point to deeper imbalances in your constitution. TCM looks at how your body generates and sustains its natural defences, and recommends care to strengthen resilience from within.

Support may include Acupuncture, Herbal Medication, Electro-Lymphatic Therapy, and Cell Pro Therapy, tailored to your constitution and recovery needs.

Modern TCM approach

Beyond the Symptom

Most treatments address what's visible. We start with what's driving it. Every consultation looks at your symptoms, body constitution, and lifestyle patterns as a whole so the care recommended is suited to you, not just your symptoms.

Tech-enhanced Therapies

Where it supports your recovery, we go beyond tradition. Therapies such as Electro-Lymphatic Therapy (ELT) and Cell Pro Therapy (CPT) are carefully selected to complement your TCM care — targeting deeper layers of inflammation, circulation, and recovery that give your body every advantage in healing well.

Understanding your diagnosis and care plan should never be a barrier. Our physicians explain your condition and recommended care clearly, in English or Mandarin, so you leave every visit feeling informed, not just treated.

How we support

Supporting Everyday Wellness Through TCM

TCM Consultation

Before any treatment, we take time to understand you. Your physician will assess your health history, lifestyle patterns, and current concerns through TCM diagnostic methods including pulse reading, tongue observation and lifestyle inquiry.

From there, they'll explain what your body may be communicating and outline a care approach suited to you.

Acupuncture

One of TCM's most established therapies, Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points along the body's meridians to support the flow of Qi and Blood.

It is commonly used to address pain, disrupted sleep, stress, digestive discomfort, and other recurring concerns. Your physician selects acupoints based on your body constitution and specific needs — treating the imbalances behind your symptoms, not just the symptoms themselves.

Cupping

Cupping uses suction to stimulate Qi and Blood circulation, ease muscle tension, and relieve inflammation. It may leave temporary circular marks that typically fade within a few days — a natural part of the process.

Your physician will walk you through what to expect and adjust the pressure to suit your comfort.

Herbal Medication

Each formula is tailored to your body constitution and the imbalances identified during your consultation whether those relate to Qi, Blood, Yin, Yang, or Dampness.

This precision is what allows herbal medication to address your concerns at the root, supporting recovery from within rather than masking symptoms.

Electro-Lymphatic Therapy (ELT)

A non-invasive therapy that supports the body's lymphatic system — a key pillar of detoxification, immunity, and recovery.

Using specialised glass probes in a relaxing, pain-free session, ELT stimulates lymphatic flow and drainage to support recovery, reduce inflammation, and ease concerns such as fatigue, bloating, swelling, and body stiffness. It is commonly recommended as part of a personalised care plan where deeper systemic support is needed.

Cell Pro Therapy (CPT)

A wellness therapy that works at the cellular level to support your body's natural recovery processes.

By delivering reducing electrons (also known as negative ions) into the body, CPT helps reduce oxidative stress, support circulation, and encourage deeper rest. It is particularly suited to patients managing chronic fatigue, high stress, or those looking to support long-term vitality.

02

Personalised Treatment Plan

Your physician builds a plan around your constitution, condition, and lifestyle. This may include Acupuncture, Cupping, herbal medication or tech-enhanced therapies. Every step is a conversation — share your hesitations openly, and your physician will adjust accordingly.

What happens during a TCM consultation?

Your physician will first take time to understand your main concerns, health history, lifestyle habits and body condition.

This may include TCM diagnostic methods such as pulse reading, tongue observation and lifestyle inquiry. From there, your physician will explain what may be contributing to your concerns and recommend suitable care options.

What conditions can a TCM consultation support?

TCM consultations may support a wide range of everyday health concerns, including stress, poor sleep, fatigue, pain, digestive discomfort, skin flare-ups, women’s health concerns, fertility preparation, immunity and general wellness.

Your physician will assess your condition before recommending a personalised care plan.

Is Acupuncture or Cupping included in the $38 promotion?

Yes. The promotion includes a $38 consultation with 1 free acupuncture or cupping session, depending on what is suitable for your condition and recommended by the physician.

Your physician will explain the recommended treatment before proceeding.

Does Acupuncture hurt?

Most patients describe Acupuncture as a mild sensation, light tingling or dull ache rather than sharp pain.

Our physicians use fine, sterile, single-use needles and will guide you through the process. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, let your physician know so adjustments can be made.

What is Cupping, and will it leave marks?

Cupping is a TCM therapy that uses gentle suction on selected areas of the body to support circulation and ease muscle tension.

It may leave temporary circular marks, which usually fade over time. Your physician will explain the process and adjust the treatment based on your comfort level.

Is TCM safe to use alongside Western medicine?

TCM may be used alongside Western medicine when managed properly. During your consultation, please let your physician know about any medication, supplements or ongoing medical treatments you are taking.

Do not stop any prescribed medication without checking with your doctor. Where needed, our physicians can take your current care plan into consideration when recommending suitable TCM support.

Do I need to stop my current medication before starting TCM?

No. You should not stop any prescribed medication unless advised by your prescribing doctor.

Your physician will ask about your current medication and health history so that suitable TCM care can be recommended safely and appropriately.

How long does it take to see results from TCM?

This depends on your condition, how long you have had it, and how your body responds to treatment.

Some people seek support for short-term discomfort, while others require ongoing care for recurring or long-standing concerns. Your physician will advise on a suitable treatment plan after assessing your condition.

Are herbal medications compulsory?

No. Herbal medication is recommended only when your physician finds it suitable for your condition.

If herbs are recommended, your physician will explain their purpose and usage. The final cost will depend on the prescription given, though our team can share the general herbal medication price range during registration or service menu explanation.

Can TCM help with stress, sleep and fatigue?

TCM looks at how stress, sleep quality, digestion, circulation and body constitution may affect your energy and rest.

Depending on your needs, your physician may recommend Acupuncture, herbal medication, lifestyle advice or other suitable therapies to support relaxation, better rest and daily energy.

Can TCM help with digestion and bloating?

TCM may support digestive concerns by looking at how your body processes food, manages internal balance and responds to stress or lifestyle habits.

Your physician will assess your symptoms and body condition before recommending suitable support, which may include Acupuncture, herbal medication, dietary guidance or other therapies.

Is TCM consultation claimable under corporate insurance?

Some corporate insurance plans may cover TCM consultation or treatment, depending on your policy.

We can provide a claim-ready invoice upon request. Please check directly with your insurer or HR team to confirm your coverage before your visit.

Can I choose the same physician for follow-up visits?

Where possible, we will help you continue care with the same physician for better continuity.

If you need to visit another branch or physician, our team will guide you based on availability and your treatment needs.

Which clinic location should I visit?

You may choose the clinic that is most convenient for you. Oriental Remedies Clinic has six locations across Singapore, including CBD (18 Cross), East Coast, Jurong East, Orchard, Punggol and Upper Thomson.

During booking, you can select your preferred clinic location and appointment timing.
